At RIRI Laser Clinic in Kegworth, your comfort, safety, and results are our priority. Following these simple before and aftercare steps will help you achieve the best possible lift and keep your lashes looking beautifully defined for longer.
Before Your Treatment
To ensure the best results:
Arrive with clean lashes, free from makeup and mascara
Avoid waterproof mascara for 24–48 hours prior to your appointment
Remove contact lenses before treatment
Avoid curling your lashes on the day of treatment
Inform your therapist of any eye conditions, sensitivities, or recent treatments
A patch test is required at least 24–48 hours before your first appointment
After Your Treatment
For the first 24–48 hours, your lashes are still setting, so extra care is important:
Avoid getting your lashes wet
No steam, saunas, swimming, or hot showers
Avoid eye makeup, mascara, or eye creams
Do not rub or touch your eyes
Avoid sleeping face down
Ongoing Care
After 48 hours, you can return to your normal routine. To maintain healthy, lifted lashes:
Use a nourishing lash serum or conditioner
Avoid excessive rubbing or pulling
Be gentle when removing makeup
Avoid waterproof mascara where possible
Book maintenance treatments every 6–8 weeks
